Nepal and India Ministry Update

 Praise the Lord!  Miles got back safe and sound.  It was a very long trip (over 3 weeks) but incredibly worth it in the long run.  

He was in Nepal and  India where he held conferences for over 700 people!  They was packed full of pastors who wanted to learn about the gospel of Christ.   

Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible.  It was very beneficial for all who attended and they will now in turn go back to their villages with the Gospel of Grace and teach it to all who attend.  

I’m often reminded of the line, “Only one life it will soon be past. Only what’s done for Jesus will last.”

What a privilege we have to do something for Jesus. He is a wonderful Saviour! This last number of weeks have been exhausting as we ministered and proclaimed the Gospel in Western Nepal and India. In Nepal, we invited 150 Christian workers to our conference but more than 300 showed up. We could not turn them away. Some people walked for 4 hours to get to a bus that would bring them the rest of the way.

The hunger  to learn about the Finished Work of Christ is immense in Nepal. Unfortunately, the majority of ‘Bible Teachers’ from the outside seem to be of the errant variety, promoting a mixture of 'Name it, Claim it' self-help, subjective-centred nonsense. It is the same in India. The hunger among the pastors to learn the Truth is outstanding. How they yearn for Christ-centered, Gospel filled literature in their own languages.

Again, all meetings in India were filled some to overflowing. The radical Hindus attached our third conference, demanding that we abandon our meetings.  However, the Lord preserved us and no further action was attempted against us for the remainder of the conference.
